Under the responsibility of the Human Resources Manager, the intern will be called upon to work on various HR projects in addition to providing general support for the HR Department. He or she will be called upon to work on recruitment files and documentations.

More precisely:

- Recruitment
- Develop and/or source tools that support recruiting or the acquisition of talent.
- Documentation compliance
- Maintain accurate and systematic filing systems, including documentation regarding employee information.
- Help with creating a structure to comply with best practices and corporate guidelines.
- Onboarding technical training
- Perform duties related to hourly hiring and new employee orientation. Processes all paperwork related to hourly and salaried hiring and new employee orientation.
- Support the ops department on technical training with external.
- Health and Safety
- Participate in various projects on health and safety at work in collaboration with the HSE Manager.
- Review and update JSA (job security assessment).
- Others
- Participate in employee engagement projects.
- Help deploy various initiatives for the production employees.
- Education_
- Being a student in a university program in HR, IR or in business administration.
- Having a credited internship program as pas of the education process is an asset.
- Skills and requirements_
- Interest in manufacturing and/or unionized environment
- Interest in OSH
- Solid practical knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Fluent in French to talk with the unionized employees
