**Position**:Warehouse Sanitation Associate (Full Time)

**Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday Afternoons 3:00 pm
- 12:15 am**

**Location**:8755 Keele Street, Concord, ON (close to Keele & Langstaff)

**Start Date**: Immediate

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for cleaning the distribution center and office.
- Performs routine cleaning including vacuuming; sweeping, and mopping floors; dusting, washing walls, doors, and windows, and emptying trash.
- Operates floor scrubber.
- Sweeps and mops sanitation barriers.
- Empties trash bins from all locations including cooler, freezer, grocery, loading docks, and break areas.
- Keeps all areas free of debris such as wood fragments, pallet wrap, labels, and paper.
- Removes empty pallets and clean and mop slots.
- Discards leaking product and records on the reconditioning log.
- Reports any violation of company policy to supervisor or coordinator.
- Performs duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HAACP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for location.

- Perform minor preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
- Assist service personnel as needed.
- Reports major repair and maintenance needs. Assist with snow removal

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**:

- High school diploma or GED required.

**Experience**:

- Previous cleaning experience in a warehouse/industrial setting preferred, but not required

**Knowledge**:

- Understands Safety guidelines.
- Able to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Able to work independently and part of a team.
- Able to stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop for long periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
- Able to work in different temperatures within the warehouse including cooler, dry section, and freezer.
- Able to follow directions when given by management.
