Brantford, Canada Heighton Accounting & Tax Services Inc. Full time

We are looking for somebody to join our team at our new Brantford location. We are a family operated full service accounting firm. We offer flexibility with hours for those who have to juggle other responsibilities (such as kids).

All work is done on site, in person. We don't offer remote work.

Job responsibilities will include:

- preparing personal (T1) tax returns which may include rental properties and small business
- communicating with clients to obtain information and explain tax results
- administrative duties and greeting clients as needed
- shifting through receipts and bookkeeping for self-employed clients
- preparing HST returns
- contacting CRA on behalf of clients
- formal tax/accounting training
- experience preparing individual tax returns
- understanding of financial reports such as a Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statement
- awesome customer service skills
- great communication
- passion for helping people with their taxes

Knowledge of Intuit Profile Tax software and Quickbooks is an asset but not necessary. We will provide training.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
