**CAD/BIM -Design Technology Specialist II**

This person will work closely with engineers, project managers, and under the mentorship of our lead Design Technologist on Canadian projects, as well as remotely support our offices in the United States and Australia. This is a great opportunity to define a career path with ample opportunities for growth and professional development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop preliminary and detailed engineering drawings and documents.
- Work with engineers both in person and remotely - incorporate information based on verbal or written instructions provided by designers and engineers.
- Create Civil 3D surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and data shortcuts.
- Create and federate BIM models from multiple CAD platforms (Civil 3D, Revit)
- Work independently with mínimal direction.
- Understand CAD/BIM requirements and adhere to standards while also recognizing opportunities to improve workflow and efficiencies.
- Participate in Design Technology Practice Group initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Civil Technology diploma.
- Experienced using the latest version of AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- 5-10 years of Design Technology experience, ideally in an engineering consulting environment.
- Understanding of engineering drawing presentation & organization.
- Experience in heavy civil industry considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong personal organization and time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
