ERP Project Manager

Green PI Inc is presently looking to provide an ERP Project Manager for its client. The ERP Project Manager will help our client with their ERP Modernization program, including but not limited to coordinating contract negotiation activities, SOW development, Project planning, project structure, business case development, stakeholder engagement, strategy, approach and Project management documentation. This project will entail transitioning from SAP ECC to S4Hana, in addition to planning subsequent stages of the modernization roadmap.

This is a contract opportunity from February - December 2025.

**Responsibilities**:

- Building business cases to support ERP implementations or upgrades.
- Participating in Contract negotiation and SOW development.
- Building the evaluation criteria and costing model for project initiatives.
- Develop project charter and a plan for execution, including all other project documentation.
- Oversight of project team to ensure delivery of the stated project goals and objectives against the established measurement criteria; coordinating and managing team resource allocation, managing deliverables and schedules of project team members to ensure timely and quality delivery of project commitments
- Chair Project Steering Committee (PSC), working group and subcommittee(s) (as required): preparing materials; sending out agendas, minutes etc. and facilitating discussions
- Document and report on project level issues, decisions, dependencies and risks, facilitate resolution and escalation
- Manage, plan and control cost, schedule, scope and create change requests and assess impact of proposed changes
- Address challenges, including organizational, vendor, technical, documentation, budget logistics

- Produce weekly status reports, broken down into daily number of hours worked and by tasks, using the client’s time tracking system. The reports must include reporting on work accomplished during the period and work planned for the next period. These will be printed, signed as being correct, and submitted to the client by the Consultant.
- Provide weekly updates on deliverables and impact of proposed changes to timelines.
- Provide formal documentation, in accordance with the client’s PMO methodologies and documentation standards.
- Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to client’s staff.

**Qualifications**
- Significant experience with developing business cases for ERP replacement, upgrades and transformations.
- Sound experience with ERP transformation lifecycle. Experience with enterprise business transformation in Human Resource, Financial, and Procurement business areas is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to review assessment documents and get a thorough understanding of the gaps, requirements, and future vision.
- Experience with developing cost benefit analysis and business cases for strategic ERP initiatives and developing total cost of ownership is essential.
- Proficient in creating definition around the technology vision and the desired future state for the ERP platform.
- Talented, with 10 plus years of experience in developing data models, technical architectures, and business process transformations.
- Very competent in aligning business requirements to system capabilities and identifying gaps.
- Previous experience as a Senior Program, Delivery or Project Manager of major ERP implementations.
- Proven expertise in managing large enterprise scale teams in a IT project management role
- Experienced in developing, evaluating, and scoring RFPs.
- Over 10 years of experience managing ERP implementation and upgrade projects, preferably with SAP.
- Sound knowledge of project management methodologies, both Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience with municipal SaaS ERPs, especially with SAP or other large ERP vendors would be preferrable.
- Exceptional Communicator with a proven ability to establish strong business relationships.
- Expert in stakeholder management. Able to operate effectively at the required level of an organization.
- Able to explain complex problems to a range of audiences, identify organizational change management challenges as well as negotiate, influence, and lead to improve business performance, and desired outcomes
- Consensus builder and motivational leader.
