**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct CAD support and modelling requirements to facilitate the generation of structural engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, construction, and field erection drawing packages for Light and Heavy Industrial Engineering Projects.
- Perform review of constructability and fabrication requirements for Heavy Industrial Windbreak Structural Steel Masts, Free Standing Columns (FSC), Tripod Steel Masts (TPD), Space Truss Towers (TRS) and common Foundation system including but not limited to: Concrete Drilled Shafts, Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) Piles, Open-Ended Steel Pipe Piles, Shallow Concrete Footings and GBS Foundations.
- Perform structural and mechanical review for various moving or static/stationary sub-assemblies within Manual and Mechanical Industrial Prototype(s) including trolleys, driveshafts, motors, gears, sprockets, cable/pulley systems, breakaway devices, shear pins and/or similar mechanical components.
- Develop conceptual engineering drawings for discussion and validation with Project Stakeholders including Project Engineers, Structural/Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers, Manufacturers and Heavy Civil Contractors.
- Complete internal Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA) and Six Sigma Quality process for defect control in manufactured components. Successfully perform various design/testing duties with Shop Personnel to complete Prototypes and Engineering Tests.
- Prepare Issued for Construction (IFC), Issued for Tender (IFT), Issued for Manufacturing (IFM) Sets, prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), Material Take-Off (MTO) and Cost Estimates (CE) for various stakeholders within the firm.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 0-2 years of relevant experience in drafting
- 0-2 Years of CAD Experience
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency with AutoCAD 2D Drafting is a must
- Sufficient knowledge and operation with AutoCAD 3D Drafting/Modelling is a must
- Some experience with Solidworks is a plus
- Ability to do self-learning and research
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise written manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - including presentations
- Motivated and self-directed with the ability to work in a team environment
