As part of the Canine Care Team, you are required to enrich and entertain the dogs that participate in our Daycamp and Overnight Stay services. You play a major role in ensuring that all our dogs are well-balanced and enjoying their experience with us in a safe and clean environment. As a Canine Care Team Member, you are required to actively oversee their overall wellness in their day to day care as well as their overnight care. Monitoring and paying close attention to their mental, physical, social, and emotional needs. - The Canine Care duties include the following but are not limited to: - Build positive relationships with all dogs and treat each of them as if they were your own dog. You must become familiar with the names, different breeds and personalities of each individual dog in our care during your scheduled shift - Acknowledge good behavior with positive reinforcement, and carefully monitor all activity for any behaviors that are not acceptable as per The Dog Loft Inc. rules and regulations - Maintain a clean and tidy atmosphere in the areas in which you are supervising and understanding the importance of our cleaning methods - Take pictures of all dogs in daycare, interacting with the dogs, participate in our Daycamp activities, assist with nail trims, walking and feeding the dogs. - Documenting dog behavior, communicating with your fellow team members and management clearly, professionally, and promptly. Expectations and Requirements: Extensive knowledge in canine behavior and health Creative and professional communication etiquette Attention to detail in documenting, managing, and completing tasks Self educates and has the desire to grow professionally and personally Strong leadership skills and ability to read and effectively communicate and teach others Exceptional time management and problem solving skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $13.50-$15.00 per hour
