Overview: **Duties**: - Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to various locations - Must demonstrate ability to disconnect/reconnect low-boy float & tractor using "Pup" engine - Load and unload cargo following safety protocols - Plan routes and meet delivery schedules - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks - Maintain accurate driving logs. Proficiency with the use of Motive ELD (formerly Keep Truckin) is advantageous - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including 0/0 permit requirements **Requirements**: - Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record - Must provide proven experience as a Float Driver/Operator - Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance is a plus - Ability to operate forklifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, double drum rollers, construction equipment and operate heavy equipment is advantageous - Preference will be given to someone who lives local to Ajax Ontario (Hwy 401 & Brock Rd.) - Must be willing to accept some Saturday work. - Join our team today to embark on a rewarding career as a Float Driver.
