**Job Description**:
The following is an overview of expected duties for the position:

- Posting and verification room charges of guest accounts and processing all the charges.
- Perform an accurate bucket check of all in-house registration cards.
- Control and secure cash handling policy.
- Verification of all account postings and balances.
- Ability to understand principles of auditing and balancing.
- Proceed with end of day/end of month tasks as well as with full night audit task list when scheduled on this shift.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
- Performing check-in/check-out procedures in a courteous and professional manner..
- Assist with any guest requests when required (including restaurant reservations and transportation).
- Log, track and complete guest wake-up calls.
- Luggage assistance.
- Performing security checks of the property and follow all company safety policies.
- General housekeeping of common areas.
- Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ensure personal appearance is clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Prepare and review documents accurately and completely.
- Have strong problem solving skills as well as the capacity to make appropriate decisions.
- Possess attention to detail as well as a strong sense of organizational capacity.
- Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Computer literate; good knowledge of excel and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a changing environment.
- English and French languages, both spoken and written. Fluency in other languages would be an asset.
- Customer service experience. **Previous book keeping / auditing experience preferred.**:

- Must be able to work well with mínimal supervision and be a team player.
- Flexibility in scheduling.
Required experience:

- At least 2 years experience in the hotel industry is required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:

- Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
