We are looking for a part-time sales associate position to join our newly opened, busy pet store in the heart of the Entertainment District We are looking for someone who has flexible availability (day, evenings, weekends), particularly working a mix of hours during the day on weekdays and on weekends. **Availability to work on Wednesday's is a **_**MUST**_ and being able to come in on short notice is an asset.

Job Overview:
As a Part-Time Sales Associate you will use your knowledge and experience to help Pet Parents find the right nutrition and other solutions for their pets. You will be part of a team of passionate Pet Experts, and enjoy the perks of helping Pet Parents every day. Core Responsibilities:

- Operating the Point Of Sale (POS) machine
- Answering the phone
- Booking grooming appointments
- Engaging with customers in providing service(s) and product suggestions/advice, etc
- Maintaining a clean and healthy environment for animals, customers and other staff
- Organizing, facing, and restocking products
- Key holder

Qualifications:

- Passion for animals
- Possess outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills
- Preferred personal or professional animal experience
- Preferred retail or customer service experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs repetitively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-40 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
