**Job Summary**

Ecovatec Solutions Inc. is a private Canadian based company, located in Abbotsford, BC. We are focused on disruptive technology solutions to processing premium egg yolk ingredients for the food and health industries. The company has developed a commercial-scale clean extraction process that effectively and efficiently achieves a higher purity product than conventional methods.

Due to recent increases in sales, we are looking for 2-3 qualified and hardworking operators to join our exciting and growing company in our manufacturing facility in Abbotsford.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

The operator position is responsible for:

- Operating equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures
- Manual and touchscreen control of pumps, valves, and other process equipment
- Maintaining a safe and clean facility/work area at all times
- Communication of problems, difficulties, or any deviations to Shift Leader and/or QA
- Maintaining the production line efficiencies at targetted levels.
- Following HACCP, GMP, and other food safety practices
- Performing quality checks of their processes and accurately recording results
- Troubleshooting equipment and correcting minor issues
- Maneuvering of heavy vessels, including large, rolling, mobile tanks
- Lifting of buckets and vessels (20 - 30 lbs)
- Pre-operational inspection of equipment and processing areas
- Cleaning of tanks, pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment (CIP and COP)
- Accurately measuring, reading, and recording data on process parameters

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Must be physically fit and hardworking
- Strong preference is given to those with previous operator experience especially in a food production environment
- Displayed aptitude with machinery and understanding how things work
- Ability to work with computerized control systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work well within a team environment with good communication skills
- Able to work in a safe manner
- Able to work all shifts including the potential for a 10-hour or 12-hour shift schedule
- We are primarily a Monday to Friday operation
