**Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our team at Swick's Landscaping. This role is essential in supporting our landscaping operations by assisting with various tasks in the shop and yard.

Swick’s Landscaping is seeking a reliable and hands-on **Shop Assistant** to support our busy landscape construction and maintenance teams. Working alongside our Shop Manager, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, has a basic mechanical aptitude, and thrives in a fast-paced outdoor work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with basic repairs and maintenance of small landscape tools and machines
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Support crews at the end of each day by helping unload trucks, tools, and debris
- Haul and dispose of green waste and debris at designated sites using company vehicles
- Clean and prep tools and equipment for the next day's work
- Run errands and pick up materials and parts as needed
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, report missing or broken items

**Qualifications**:

- Valid driver’s license (Class 5); experience driving larger trucks and trailering is a plus
- Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort with tools and small engines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Tool and product knowledge to be able to identify and organize areas of the shop
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of lifting and loading equipment and debris

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
