**Machine Operator Job Description**

Our Machine Operators are critical to ensuring safety, quality and continuous improvement within Poly-Nova Technologies.
We are currently looking for two full-time (Monday
- Friday) Machine Operators on Night Shift (10:50PM to 7:00AM).

**Duties Include**:

- Load press/machine with correct rubber
- Operate injection molding machines and presses
- Closely inspect parts within cycle time by following quality inspection instructions and alerts
- Complete shift paperwork: machine logs, scrap sheets, production reports, etc. and maintain accurate records related to activity of shift
- Package finished parts as per required quantity; label and prepare for shipping, place on skid
- Notify Supervisor or Lead Hand of any issues or unusual amounts of scrap, including new/unusual defects
- Maintain traceability and identification of parts by confirming correct labels are placed on boxes
- Ensure fabric is pulled and sprues are inspected for mold foul, or other rubber related issues
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- General housekeeping: sweeping area, removing build-up of rubber and parts spillage in work area
- Other Duties as required

**Qualifications/ Requirements/ Competencies**
- High School (Secondary School) diploma
- 1+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, short correspondance and memorandums
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Competent to operate press equipment: automated and manual

**Other Specifications**
- General mathematic and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 15-30 lbs; full case of product and insert trays
- Ability to stand for long periods, with opportunity to sit during inspection
