Curtis-Villar Chartered Professional Accountants is growing and looking for the next outstanding team member to join us in the role of Firm Administrator. This will be an in-office position based out of our Guelph location.

The Firm Administrator plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day and long-term success of Curtis-Villar. This individual will assist with daily activities and drive financial and operational objectives. With exemplary leadership and time management skills, the Firm Administrator ensures that all support functions operate efficiently and effectively.

Your role on the team will cover a variety of responsibilities including:

- Providing assistance and coordination in the administrative, planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of Curtis-Villar.
- Answering the phones and greeting clients.
- Providing analytical support to other teams.
- Preparing reports accurately and on time to the Partners.
- Ensuring financial records comply with internal policies.
- Ensuring management and team have ready access to sound financial/accounting policies and procedures.
- Assisting in the tracking of professional development and dues for team members.
- Preparing documentation for insurance renewal.
- Overseeing accounts receivable collections and follow-up.
- Reconciling internal CRM revenue and receivables with accounting records.
- Recording and invoicing client disbursements in CRM.
- Following-up on outstanding invoices from team members.
- Reconciling visa and post expenses through Dext.
- Preparing renewals for month recurring revenue clients and discuss with partners.
- Assisting with the on-boarding process for new clients.
- Assisting with renewal process for current clients.
- Assisting with preparation requirements for practice inspections.

**Who are you?**

You will display each of the following attributes:

- Bookkeeping certificate or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Collaborative approach with a strong team-player attitude.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to take ownership of challenges.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- High-level time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Familiarity with cloud accounting programs (Xero/QBO are preferred)
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- New technology excites you and you want to be at the forefront of a profession that can pivot to meet the rapidly changing needs of our industry.
- Proven experience in a professional office

Previous experience in a Public Accounting Firm is an asset.

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
