- Create and implement educational programs and activities for children and adolescents
- Provide guidance and support to youth in areas such as academics, social skills, and emotional well-being
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that promotes positive behavior and personal growth
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop individualized plans for each child
- Monitor and assess the progress of youth participants, providing feedback and making necessary adjustments to support their development
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on their child's progress
- Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, behavior, and program outcomes

- Must have a Child Youth Worker Certificate
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with youth from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- CYW: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Child Youth Worker Certificate (required)
- CPR Certification (required)
- CPI Training (required)
