We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Medical Office Assistant to join our primary care practice. In this role, you will assist our healthcare team in providing efficient, compassionate care to our patients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Maintain patient records and enter patient data accurately into our electronic medical record system (MedAccess & Ava).
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups, ensuring a smooth flow in clinic operations.
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked
- Assist physicians with medical examinations as needed.
- Process insurance forms and handle billing processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment.
- Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, as well as privacy and confidentiality rules as per the Health Information Protection Act.

**Qualifications**:

- Medical Office Assistant diploma or relevant training is preferred.
- Experience in a primary care setting is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of medical software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed.

**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
