**Land & Sea Brewing Company **is looking for the right individual to join our Brewing Team. The successful applicant will have some brewing knowledge, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a drive for maintaining quality and efficiency.

**This is a part-time position (to start) where morning and/or evening shifts, as well as weekend availability, may be required. Compensation will be competitive with local industry standards, and there is ample opportunity for learning and growth within the company.**

The production team members will share responsibility for all packaging operations; Canning, Kegging, Draught Line cleaning/maintenance, Deliveries. They will assist in day-to-day management and organization of the brewery warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving.

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Reporting to Upper Management for Brewery Operations, the Production Assistant is responsible for:_
- Assist in packaging (canning, kegging, labelling)
- General maintenance & regular upkeep of equipment and cleanliness in all work areas
- Performing CIP (sanitation) of packaging equipment, parts and fittings
- Maintaining draft line & tap cleaning/maintenance
- Keg Cleaning & Organization
- Detailed record keeping and quality control reporting for LDB reference
- Assist to develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Actively contribute to maintaining a safe manufacturing environment
- Responsible to report any shortages of inventory and/or be proactive in reporting low quantities of required materials
- Organizing cooler & stock to maintain proper inventory cycling & ease for FOH workers
- Ability to travel, and work a flexible schedule including mornings/evenings and weekends
- Other duties as dictated by requirements ie. Public tours, education, tastings and interaction with brewery guests
- Obtaining Serving It Right certification

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot
- Extremely detail-oriented and process-focused
- Self-motivated, task-orientated
- Excellent work ethic with an ability to multitask and strong time management
- Quality control experience an asset
- Strong logistics, record keeping and computer proficiency
- Demonstrable passion for craft beer and continuous education of beer culture
- Team player and able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, early mornings and weekends
- Physically fit for bending, long hours on foot, and to move heavy objects (50kg-100kg)
- Drivers license with a clean driver abstract
- Prior experience in u-brew, brewpub or production craft brewery considered an asset
