**Job Purpose**

Reporting to the Director, Zero Carbon Building Program, the Zero Carbon Building Program Analyst supports the project coordination of improvements and development of the Zero Carbon Building Standard and associated tools. Working closely with other Green Building Programs technical and operational staff, as well as the Corporate Communications and Marketing team, this position supports client needs and fosters uptake of the Zero Carbon Building Standard in Canada.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Client Care**
- Provide understanding and coaching to project teams on the technical requirements of the Zero Carbon Building Standards while adhering to procedures to ensure consistent delivery of the certification programs.
- Track client inquiries and CAGBC responses in the Access database.
- Attend customer meetings as a resource and notetaker for minutes and action items.
- Program Support
- Coordinate the development of detailed updates to the Zero Carbon Building Standard and associated guidance and tools within a suitable timeline.
- Prepare summaries or written briefs on various topics for colleagues, CAGBC’s technical committees, or management with appropriate level of depth including research, reflection, and analysis of possible next steps.
- Attend technical advisory group and steering committee meetings as a resource for maintaining meeting minutes and logging action items.
- Prepare reports, slide presentations, and other materials to support market uptake of the programs.
- Support the development and delivery of educational and promotional materials.
- Strive for continuous improvement within the green building programs team, including suggesting improvements to standards, processes, and tools to improve client experience, market uptake, and internal efficiency.

**Other Responsibilities**
- Perform related responsibilities and duties as assigned by your supervisor.

**Education and Experience**

Undergraduate degree or Post-secondary Diploma (3 year) in a related field of study such as:

- Engineering;
- Building energy systems, architecture or building operations; or
- Environmental science or sustainability.
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of low carbon building principles, strategies, and technologies.
- Familiarity with green building rating systems, policies, and programs in Canada is an asset.

**Skills**
- Demonstrated project coordination and organization skills and ability to manage projects with multiple moving parts.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills necessary to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external parties.
- Integrity, matched with good judgement and decision-making skills.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
