**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for **Commercial Construction Driver** to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Commercial Construction Driver (operating a FORD or HINO) will work with a team to deliver construction material to various commercial job sites around the lower mainland, complete dump runs, and general labour as required. This position will also assist with various general tasks within the workshop at the head office in Coquitlam. Your key responsibilities will Include:

- Work with the dispatcher/scheduler on timing/coordination of deliveries;
- Operate company vehicle in a safe, efficient, and professional manner;
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections on the truck and follow all safety procedures;
- Pick up and deliver material to and from various job sites;
- Pick up and drop off construction waste from various job sites to the waste stations;
- Ensure waste bins are loaded with the appropriate type of materials;
- Picking up materials from various suppliers;
- Loading/unloading of construction material and/or equipment;
- Working in and around construction crew members while delivering construction materials;
- Organization of construction materials in our shop and storage facilities;
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and well-organized vehicle;
- Obtain all necessary paperwork and signatures where required;
- Perform other assigned duties in between deliveries such as maintaining company premises, organizing the shop, cleaning of the delivery vehicles, and assisting with various tasks within the shop; and
- Other duties as assigned

- Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience is preferred
- Must be physically able lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- CSA approved safety footwear
