The Customs Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing and auditing the activities of Tigercat Industries Inc customs brokers, freight forwarders and will be the prime contact for day-to-day import and export activities. Experience in drafting/implementing import and export control policies and procedures, conducting compliance audits (internal, brokers and forwarders), and providing training to small and large audiences is highly desirable.

**Day shift**: 5 x 8 hour shifts; Monday to Friday

**Responsibilities may include**:

- Review and process customs documentation
- Preparation of customs entries to obtain release
- Application of harmonized tariff codes to determine the duty level
- Knowledge in tariff treatments in accordance with customs rules and regulations
- Monitor shipments until released
- Communicate with transport companies and other Tigercat departments
