**Responsibilities**
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs on various types of buildings, ensuring high standards of quality and durability.
- Conduct inspections to assess damage or identify potential issues, reporting findings and recommendations as needed.
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installation, following safety guidelines and best practices.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively, taking proper precautions to ensure a safe work environment.
- Follow blueprints, instructions, and other specifications for accurate and efficient installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and ensure all materials are handled safely.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Previous experience in roofing or a related field is preferred, with knowledge of construction and general handyman tasks.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and the ability to follow detailed instructions is a plus.
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and above average problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, communicating effectively with other team members.

**Skills and Core Competencies**
- Proficiency with hand tools and roofing equipment, including caulking, construction tools, and heavy lifting as required.
- Capability to perform precise work, ensuring accurate measurements and alignments in installations.
- Commitment to safety, with an understanding of OSHA standards and a strong safety mindset on all projects.

**Work Environment and Conditions**
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights on ladders or scaffolding.

**Job Summary**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
