We’re hiring a **skilled roofer** with **at least 3 years of experience** in both **shingle and metal roofing systems**. If you’ve got a strong work ethic, know your way around standing seam and specialty metal installs, and want to be part of a solid, reliable crew — we want to hear from you.
- **What You’ll Do**
- Install, repair, and replace **asphalt shingles** and **metal roofing systems**:

- Perform full tear-offs and residential re-roofs
- Work with a variety of **metal systems**, including:

- **Standing Seam** (Heritage, Easy Snap, etc.)
- **Mechanical Lock Standing Seam**:

- **Steel Shingles** (Wakefield Bridge, Click Lock, etc.)
- **Exposed Fastener Systems** (Americana, Corrugated Rib, Canadianan, etc.)
- Read and follow blueprints, install guides, and site instructions
- Ensure underlayment, flashing, and ventilation are properly installed
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Support labour tasks like material handling, clean-up, and helping other trades
- **What We’re Looking For**
- **Minimum 3 years** of roofing experience (**metal experience required**)
- Proven ability to install various metal roofing systems
- Comfortable working at heights and on steep pitches
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites (Ottawa & area)
- Physically fit and able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly
- **Working at Heights Certification** (required)
- Skilled with roofing tools (seamers, snips, hand brakes, nail guns, etc.)
- Strong work ethic, team-first mindset, and a commitment to quality
- **Assets (Nice to Have)**
- WHMIS, First Aid, or CPR Certification
- Experience with siding, fascia, gutters, or framing
- Own PPE and basic tools (we can supply if needed)
- Comfortable using mobile apps for job tracking and check-ins
