This role is a cross between technical lead and people manager. We expect this person to have a strong background in development, who can still write code, contribute to projects, handle code reviews as well as facilitate deployment and other lead developer tasks. While also handling a team of direct reports as their people manager. This person cares about people, and how they are managed.
