The Community Partnership Coordinator develops and manages external sponsorships, partnerships, and assists in funding initiatives, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with organizational goals.

**Under the direction of the Manager, Marketing & Communications, the Community Partnership Coordinator is responsible for the following**:

- Identify, secure, and manage sponsorships to support revenue growth and strategic objectives.
- Develop tailored proposals and agreements that align with organizational priorities and sponsor goals.
- Collaborate across departments to deliver sponsorship benefits, including branding, signage, and promotional activations.
- Maintain a detailed sponsorship calendar to manage deadlines, deliverables, renewals, and stewardship activities.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, legal standards, and organizational requirements.
- Monitor sponsorship performance, providing post-event analysis and reporting to partners.
- Manage sponsorship funds and budgets with accurate financial tracking and accountability.
- Plan and execute VIP experiences and hospitality initiatives to enhance sponsor engagement and event value.
- Support group ticket sales and community outreach to increase event participation.
- Contribute to donor and funding initiatives, including the annual operations campaign.
- Collaborate with marketing to integrate sponsorships into campaigns and maximize visibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, donors, and community stakeholders to foster long-term support.
- Represent Westerner Park at industry and networking events to cultivate new opportunities.
- Contribute to strategic planning by identifying trends, growth areas, and innovative partnership approaches.

**Here is what you bring**:

- 3-5 years of experience in sponsorship, sales, fundraising, or partnership development.
- Post Secondary Education in a related field is preferred.
- Experience in event management, marketing, or community relations is an asset.
- Proven track record of securing sponsorships and managing partner relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with CRM systems, sponsorship tracking software, or donor management platforms.
- Familiarity with graphic design or marketing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is an asset.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel as needed for sponsor meetings, events, and community engagement.
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and activations.

Compensation: $52,832 to $64,563.20 per annum
