Front Counter Staff

Looking for a mature person to join our team as a **part-time** (18h-25h/week) front counter customer service representative. Store hours are **M-F 9-7** and **Sat 10-5**. Ideally would help 2-3 days a week (open to negotiation).
Duties
- Open and close a store in the morning and evening
- Greet customers and interact in a friendly and professional manner
- Utilize good communication skills to take customer orders accurately
- Proficient usage of computers and using a POS system
- Help measure and pin customer's clothing for alterations or repairs
- Tag and bag clothing items accurately and with care
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
**Skills**:
- Proficient knowledge of English is required.
- Basic understanding and usage of computers is mandatory.
- Experience in the dry cleaning, laundry or clothing industry or a similar role is an asset
- Working knowledge of garments or sewing is valuable
- Previous experience in front counter customer service roles is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy
No previous experience required if diligent and willing to learn. Training available on site.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 - 25 per week
