**Service Manager**
**Responsibilities**:
- Testing and Inspection: Conduct regular testing, inspection, verification, and servicing of fire alarm systems and devices to ensure they are functioning correctly and comply with safety standards.
- Site Inspection: Inspect installation sites and review work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine material requirements and installation procedures.
- Customer Demonstrations: Demonstrate systems for customers, explaining details such as the causes and consequences of false alarms, and providing training on system usage.
- System Maintenance: Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications to maintain optimal system performance.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local and national security standards and regulations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Customer Service: Maintain a customer-oriented mentality, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including inspections, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance service quality and efficiency.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- CFAA License: Must hold a valid CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) license.
- Experience: Prior experience with monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Siemens and/or Mircom ESD systems is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to maintain a customer-oriented approach and deliver exceptional service.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certifications: Additional certifications in fire and life safety systems are a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with systems including fire alarm, security, and sprinkler preferred.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry standards.
- CFAA License
- Prior experience with monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems and security systems preferred.
- Siemens and/or Mircom ESD experience preferred.
- Positive attitude & strong work ethic.
- Customer oriented mentality.
