Home Hardware has an exciting opportunity available for a
**Financial Analyst - Retail Systems** to join our In-Store Systems Solutions (ISS) team. Reporting to the Manager, ISS Finance Engagement, we are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the retail industry and its specific accounting, ERP and POS needs; and who will become a product specialist on our Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

You will be responsible for the implementation of the product life cycle for the accounting and finance features of our in-store systems. You work closely with vendors, developers, and the retail accounting engagement and deployment teams to define and develop new features and enhancements, as well as to support existing products.

**What you’ll do**:

- Collaborate with the ISS Finance Engagement Manager to identify new and enhanced ISS capabilities within the ISS Product Roadmap.
- Work with software vendors to carry out discovery of roadmap features and enhancements to existing functions.
- Create standard operating procedure documentation to outline and define required system functionality and provide a future state view to support system analysis and development.
- Work with business analysts and consultants to deliver required in-store system functionality. Provide in-depth analysis of existing system capabilities and determine where enhancements or new functions are required.
- Lead the approval process for system enhancements and new functionality, collaborating with the ISS Manager.
- Responsible for maintaining updated standard operating procedure documentation as new and updated functionality is approved. Provide direction to ISS team members in support of new and updated system development.
- Lead, as well as perform, the user acceptance testing process for new system features, system enhancements, and defect fixes.
- Collaborate with the ISS Manager to evaluate and rank the system functionality requests and present to the Dealer Advisory Committee.

**What we’re looking for**:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Three to five years’ experience in product management, research, and accounting; within the Retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Expertise in store level standard retail operating and accounting procedures.
- Proven project management skills, with excellent organizational, research and writing skills.
- Excellent verbal English skills with presentation experience.
- Must be highly organized and work under strict time and production deadlines while producing and leading the production of quality deliverables.
- Knowledge of Home Hardware’s Systems and Services an asset.
