**Samfiru Tumarkin LLP** is a busy national litigation firm with offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver — specializing in employment law, as well as personal injury and insurance litigation.

At Samfiru Tumarkin LLP, Articling Student responsibilities include legal document production (including demand letters, claims, etc.), research, handling the day-to-day carriage of Small Claims Court files under the supervision of a lawyer or paralegal, shadowing legal representatives at various appearances including mediations, motions, and trials, and completing various administrative duties as needed.

This position is hybrid, with the option to work remotely or from our office. A reliable home internet connection is required for remote working.
- A demonstrated interest in litigation and specifically employment law
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A customer service mentality and high level of professionalism
- Excellent attention to detail and keen organizational ability
- Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team
- The ability to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines
