**Grounds Person - Join Our Tree Care Team**

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent
**Pay**: $18-$22/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Do you love working outdoors in all types of weather? Do you have a background in landscaping or arboriculture and enjoy physical, hands-on work? If so, we’d love to meet you

We’re looking for a motivated **Ground Crew Member** to support our tree care team in the field. You’ll play a key role in tree pruning & removals, hedge trimming, stump grinding, and site cleanup, all while maintaining a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

**What You’ll Do**
- Prune trees and hedges to industry standards
- Support climbers during tree removals
- Operate chippers and other equipment
- Use and maintain chainsaws and other power tools
- Grind stumps using specialized machinery
- Drag brush, lift and move heavy logs
- Tie proper knots and assist with rigging systems
- Tow trailers and back up equipment with confidence
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure clean, hazard-free worksites
- Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers

**What We’re Looking For**
- Experience in landscaping, arboriculture, or similar field
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round
- Physically fit and safety-conscious
- Strong work ethic and team-first mindset
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- **Valid G driver’s licence with a clean abstract - Required**:

- Experience towing trailers
- Chainsaw and equipment operation experience
- First Aid certification - an asset
- Attention to detail and pride in your work

- Chainsaw pants
- Forestry helmet with ear muffs and visor
- Safety glasses or approved eye protection
