Hilltop Tree Care, a trusted provider of professional arboriculture services, is seeking an **experienced and skilled Tree Climber/Arborist** to join our growing team. **Why Join Us?** - Modern equipment and tools to make your job easier. - Competitive salary based on experience and skills. - Monday to Friday - Benefits Program (health, dental, vision - at 90 days) - Exceptional "safety-first" mindset and practices, including WSIB coverage - Growth opportunities - Employee appreciation initiatives **Responsibilities**: - Safely climb trees using industry standard techniques. - Perform tree removals with precision and attention to safety. - Pruning and thinning the canopy of trees from various heights using industry and company standards. - Installation of cables and bracing. - Properly operate and general maintenance of equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, stumpers, ropes, and hand tools. - Diagnose tree health issues and recommend appropriate solutions. - Interacts with customers to ensure the job is completed to their satisfaction. - Play an active role in maintaining a positive work environment. **Qualifications**: - Valid Ontario “G” License with clean abstract. (D License is an asset). - Certified Arborist or relevant qualification preferred. - Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions. - Proficiency with ropes, rigging techniques, and climbing equipment. - Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. - Experience hauling and backing a trailer. - Works well with clients to ensure customer satisfaction. - Communicate effectively with team members and management. - Team based work ethic with a positive attitude. - First Aid is an asset Don’t wait - join our team and help us care for trees, one branch at a time **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: - Erin, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Tree Climbing for a company: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: - First Aid Certification (preferred) Work Location: In person
