Scotts Canada Ltd., in Eel River (Baie Ste. Anne), NB, is seeking Class-1 Truck Driver.

**Job Description**:
Using provided tools, equipment, skills and experience, the Bulk Peat Delivery Driver will operate a company-owned truck and walking-floor trailer to haul bulk peat between our extraction site in Eel River and our plant in St. Margaret’s.

Applicants MUST:
- Work in a safe manner and display a good attitude while working independently and as part of a team- Have reliable transportation and be capable of working overtime on occasion- Be capable of self-loading using a wheel loader- Be able to speak, read and write in ENGLISH and be able to communicate well- Have at least three years RECENT highway experience as a Class 1 truck driver and be able to operate a truck with a manual transmission- Meet minimum performance standards, including pre-employment testing (theory and practical)- Not have restrictions limiting one’s ability to properly wear Personal Protective Equipment, working at night or in dusty environments- Provide a CPIC (Criminal Record) Check and driver’s abstract (driving record)

Normal shifts are Monday to Friday, alternating between days (7:00 to 19:00) and nights (19:00 to 7:00)

Bilingualism is an asset, but not a requirement.

This is a SEASONAL, UNIONIZED position. Pay rate is $24.54 per hour, with overtime payable after 44 hours
