Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver, with heavy truck experience ,to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture to various locations while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role requires physical strength, effective communication skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and care during transport.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
  • Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid G driver's license and above with a clean driving record
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations, including experience with forklifts is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and move items safely.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
