**Summary**

The Belting technician, under the direction of the Coatings Division Manager, will perform service work on location at clients place of business and will primarily be responsible for the installation and / or repair of conveyor belt installation & vulcanization. The work will also include the lagging of pulleys, changing roller frames, idlers, and other conveyor components. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

**Job Duties**
- Perform and/or assist with heavy duty conveyor belt installation & vulcanization.
- Perform repairs on conveyor belts.
- Perform relagging of pulley work on site and in warehouse.
- Assess belts for faults or damage.
- Work in warehouse as directed when outside service work is unavailable.
- Changing of conveyor parts such as Roller frames, idlers, impact bed, pulleys, scrappers, skirting, etc.
- Ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum 2 years' related experience as belting technician
- General mechanical aptitudes
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read blueprint instructions.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.

**Work Conditions**
- Overtime may be required.
- Work on-call hours, evening & weekends
- Travel may be required.
- Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
