**Summary**:
This individual is responsible the parts room, including shipping and receiving duties, the yard, including organization and staging of equipment, and shop hand, including assisting mechanics on work orders and cleanliness of the shop.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Effectively, safely and productively prepare items for shipment, ship, receive and delivery parts, supplies and equipment, maintain the parts room, maintain areas designated for parts and equipment and maintain yard and building.

**Core duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:

- Shipping and Receiving: Receives and unloads freight both manually and with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; checks for damaged goods; verifies quantity and quality of order; verifies items received with packing slips and purchase orders. Wraps, packages and prepares items for shipping. Delivers and retrieves supplies to and from work or storage areas; tags and issues supplies, stocks shelves and rotates inventory; may receive, store and ship flammable explosive or caustic and hazardous material; may assemble, move and maintain furniture and equipment.
- Stock Room / Inventory Maintenance:

- Assisting service technicians when required and asked.
- Responsible for shop cleaning and building maintenance
- Responsible for Washing and Cleaning of Equipment.
- Responsible for yard maintenance, including but not limited to litter pick up, grass cutting, snow removal, sanding, and weed control.
- Responsible for building maintenance including but not limited to washing windows etc.
- May be required to start early or stay late during peak seasons or inclement weather.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Basic tool Set
- Previous experience in shop environment
- High School Diploma
- Class 5 Drivers license
- Bondable.
- Excellent computer skills utilizing MS Office Suite; ability to learn and utilize electronic parts catalogues and inventory system.
- Maintain Forklift license and certification
- Maintain MSDS license and certification
- Maintain WHMIS license and certification
