**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students learning English as a second language.
- Conduct classes in a supportive and interactive manner, encouraging student participation and collaboration.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, inclusivity, and cultural awareness.
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support students' overall development and integration into the school community.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress reports.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in an ESL setting or with children.
- Strong understanding of language acquisition theories and effective teaching strategies for non-native speakers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students from diverse backgrounds.
- A degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant certifications in ESL teaching are a plus.
- Familiarity with technology-enhanced teaching tools is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 9 per week
