Currently, ParklandGEO is seeking seasonal lab technicians for an approximately 8-10 month term.

**The Opportunity**:
As a seasonal lab technician, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with a dynamic team of engineers and technologists, working under the guidance of the Technical Services Manager. Your role will involve conducting lab monitoring, testing, and investigations to contribute to the success of our projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform laboratory testing on asphalt, soil, and aggregate materials.
- Understand and adhere to legislative testing guidelines.
- Execute detailed and accurate testing, data entry, and reporting.
- Manage rush testing, prioritize time effectively, and meet deliverables.
- Travel to sites to collect samples for testing purposes.
- Assist the Lab Coordinator/Supervisor with requested deliverables.
- Arrange shipment of samples to other offices for further testing.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in construction or a similar materials setting is a plus.
- CCIL/CSA certification is considered an asset.
- Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle tasks meticulously.
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
- Hold a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision while effectively communicating with colleagues and management.
- Willingness to work up to 12 hours a day, including some weekends and overtime as required.
- Team-oriented mindset with a dedication to safety excellence.
