Seasonal Scale Room Operator

Job Description:
Position Summary

This position is responsible for performing operations tasks involving the receiving, grading, and sample testing of grain.

Key Responsibilities- Performing inspection activities such as probing trucks- Follow quality procedure to perform testing on different grains- Grading grain according to the Canadian Grain Commission specifications

What is expected of you and others at this level- Minimal job-related experience- Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy- Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail

Education & Experience- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred- Previous grain operations experience preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Environment- Must be able to stand for an extended period of time- Work as a team and interact with customers on a daily basis- Working conditions could include dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces
