Modern Dairy farm looking for Full time Herdsperson

As a Dairy Herdsperson, you will be responsible for the daily care and management of the 250 milking dairy cows, heifers and calves, ensuring their health and productivity. Your role will require you to have a strong sense of pride in your work and a keen eye. You should be a self starter who can see tasks that need to be completed. Your role will require strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in operating farm machinery. Daily feeding of animals with a self-propelled mixer. You will engage in heavy lifting and various physical tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the farm. We are milking in a modern new robotic facility with the latest technology. Hours may vary by season. Field work will be required. Tractor experience is an asset. Dairy farm experience is also an asset but we are willing to train the right person. Every other weekend. Regular shift starts at 6am until 3pm, during busy season shifts are extended. Join our dedicated team and help maintain the highest standards of dairy production.

Applicant must have:

A keen eye

Valid drivers license

Mechanical aptitude

Comfortable running large farm equipment

Must be reliable and punctual
