Weston Manufacturing Ltd. is a family-run structural steel fabrication company based in Fort Macleod, AB. We take pride in the quality of our work and the integrity of our team. We’re currently looking to add a **Junior Estimator** to our estimating department.

This role is ideal for someone who has some experience with construction estimating and is comfortable working with drawings, numbers, and people. You’ll be working alongside another Junior Estimator and under the guidance of a Senior Estimator, with plenty of opportunity to grow your skillset in a supportive environment.

**What You’ll Do**
- Prepare estimates and material takeoffs for structural steel and fabrication work
- Communicate with customers to clarify project details and provide quote information
- Read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications
- Assist in compiling accurate cost estimates for materials and labour
- Communicate with suppliers to gather pricing and availability
- Collaborate with project managers and internal departments
- Maintain clear and organized estimate files
- Support the estimating team with general administrative and technical tasks

**What We’re Looking For**
- Some estimating or construction-related experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers and suppliers
- Detail-oriented with basic math and file management abilities
- Valid driver’s licence (travel to job sites not required)
- **Bluebeam experience is an asset, but not required**:

- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with the team

**Nice to Have (But Not Required)**
- Familiarity with steel fabrication or construction drawings
- Previous experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing setting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fort Macleod, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
