Torpedo Marketing is an innovative and forward-thinking organization devoted to our staff, clients and community. We are a full service marketing/ communications company specializing in designing and executing direct marketing campaigns including direct mail, data, print, design, fulfillment, online marketing and web projects.

We currently have an opportunity for a full time bindery and letter shop operator, including folding, inserting, inkjetting, clip-sealing, polybagging and other general bindery.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate high level mail equipment such as: mail inserters, folders, and inkjetter
- Set up equipment at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order
- Assist with sorting, bundling and training in fulfillment/letter shop environment if required
- Assist with manual work as required
- Follow instructions on job docket using key information for set ups and operations
- Complete jobs scheduled for the assigned equipment according to the work orders and job docket, within the established time frames for each job
- Monitor and maintain warehouse inventory
- Report to Plant Manager
- Ensure adherence to QC policies and procedures, and all safety standards
- Other duties may be required

**Qualifications**:

- Highly organized, detail-oriented with strong time management capabilities
- Must have good communication skills and able to take direction well to complete tasks
- Physical manual labor required, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., within safe work guidelines
- Use manual and electric pump trucks
- Experience with Canada Post & USPS mailing standards and categories is an asset
- Willingness and ability to train, cross train, and develop in a team environment if required
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals is an asset
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask and deal with frequent changes in production plan
- Have good knowledge of mechanical devices
- Must wear safety shoes in the plant environment

**AODA Considerations**

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
