**P&H Milling**:
P&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.

From its mills in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Montreal, Quebec; Acton, Hanover, and Cambridge, Ontario; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Lethbridge, Alberta, the P&H Milling Group supplies flour to customers throughout Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Iceland, and Pacific Rim countries.

As a Wheat Intake Operator, you will be responsible for all tasks and processes relevant to the daily movement of wheat and cleaning. This is an entry level position into the Mill.

**Day to Day**:

- Taking wheat samples for verification of quality on all deliveries of wheat.
- Receive wheat at the mill by truck, rail, vessel or transfer from Grain Elevator
- Monitor wheat inventory at the plant.
- Ensure the wheat intake equipment is maintained and in good working condition.
- Maintain records and documents in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Cover shifts in the mills, as required.
- Sanitation as per cleaning schedule.
- Assisting in preventative maintenance in mills.

**Does This Sound Like You?**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Competent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work shift work
- Ability to complete Miller training courses as prescribed by P&H on an annual basis
