At Red Barn Market, we take pride in providing our community with a wide variety of grocery essentials. As an **Assistant Grocery Manager,** you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our shelves are stocked, our customers are satisfied, and our store runs smoothly. We are looking for an Assistant Grocery Manager to join our team at our new Sandown location in North Saanich.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**: Work closely with the Grocery Manager to maintain optimal stock levels. Monitor inventory, place orders, and minimize waste.
- **Merchandising**: Create eye-catching displays that highlight our diverse grocery offerings, from pantry staples to fresh produce. Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales.
- **Customer Service**: Assist customers with inquiries, product location, and recommendations. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure product freshness, proper storage, and adherence to safety standards.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments to enhance overall store operations.
- **Financials**: Assist with managing financials including scheduling, budgets, & margins

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous work in a grocery store or related field.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage inventory efficiently.
- **Customer Focus**: A passion for delivering exceptional service.
- **Availability**: Flexible schedule. Available days, weekends, and evenings.

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
