**Why This Role?**
As a vital link between sales, customers, and the warehouse, the Order Coordinator provides efficient internal/external communications, high-quality customer service, and adaptable support for the warehouse team. This role helps to streamline logistics, foster effective communication, and maintain operational flexibility.
**Position Summary**:
The Order Coordinator is responsible for managing customer orders, coordinating warehouse logistics, and facilitating product pick-ups for customers and installers. Serving as the warehouse liaison with the sales teams, this role ensures seamless communication and collaboration to deliver excellent customer service and efficient order fulfillment. The Order Coordinator will also assist with warehouse duties as needed, supporting overall operational efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Order Management and Fulfillment**:
- Support the order fulfillment process by communicating between sales, warehouse staff, and logistics teams to facilitate smooth operations.
- Act as an order liaison between sales, finance, and operation teams; prioritizing orders based on customer needs.
- Assist the warehouse team in organizing order staging & pre-shipping.
- Prepare and process shipping and receiving paperwork.
**Customer and Technician Pick-Up Coordination**:
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers and technicians during product pick-ups, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
**Warehouse and Administrative Support**:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify, track, and process damaged or short-shipped deliveries.
- Handle digital and physical filing for all order-related paperwork, such as product release and returns documentation.
- Participate as an active member of the inventory control team.
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly for coordinating with sales teams, customers, and warehouse staff.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
- Familiarity with order processing and inventory management software, including scanners.
- Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or order coordination role is preferred.
- Flexibility to assist with warehouse tasks as needed.
