**Main Responsibilities**
- Sourcing, pricing and issuing purchase orders for standard materials, supplies and services for various projects
- Review quotations for specification compliance and submit for approvals
- Issuing purchasing orders, manage open orders including follow up, on-time delivery and expediting
- Focus on obtaining savings and competitive prices, perform savings tracking
- Supporting buyers and cross training within the department
- Receipt of goods processing of packing slips
- Resolving discrepancies with vendor invoices
- developing and maintaining material pricing databases to ensure details and cost are up to date
- maintaining sub-contractor documentation
- other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Experience in the Contracting Industry an asset
- Mechanical/pipefitting knowledge would be an advantage.
- Purchasing experience an asset
- College Diploma

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:
