We have an opportunity for a full time **Supervisor** who wants to make a positive impact on their team and run the day to day operations with strength and integrity. As the Supervisor you will have a friendly personality, engaging attitude, and strong leadership skills.

**The Supervisor has eyes on all day to day operations. They are constantly leading by example and ensuring all staff are following Peaked Pies policies and standards. The Shift Supervisor is monitoring the performance of all staff each day and encouraging excellent team morale while providing additional training if needed. The Shift Supervisor is anticipating busy periods and preparing the upcoming shifts to be ready.**

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Working with your team to open/close the store, serve customers and bake pies along with:
Operational Management:

- Ensuring orders are placed for all stock
- Monitoring equipment to ensure Peaked Pies is able to produce product in a safe and timely manner.
- Monitoring store maintenance and cleanliness to ensure the upkeep of workplace safety, comfort of environment and general aesthetics are maintained.
- People Management: training and development, motivating and encouraging staff
- Conducting performance reviews and performance management when necessary
- Conduct a weekly meeting with Store Manager and Cooks
- Assisting with staff scheduling when necessary
- Food Safe/Health and Safety Management:

- Ensuring all staff follow and understand Food Safe management and practices
- Training staff on Emergency Procedures
- Ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained;
- Implementing, and instilling in the team, company culture, policies and procedures;
- Promoting a team atmosphere by running each shift with precision and directing team members
- Ensuring Cashiers are completing daily checklists and duties according to Peaked Pies standard in a timely manner
- Ensuring Front Line Staff have the necessary tools and training to complete their job
- Handling customer complaints and queries;
- Following up on large pre-orders to ensure all members of staff are aware

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 Hospitality experience a must.
- **Must have valid Foodsafe Level 1 certificate.**:

- **Must have valid Serving It Right certificate.**:

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
- Must be a Canadian/Permanent Resident or already have a valid work permit.
- Extended Health Benefits available after eligibility period completed.

Full-time, 40 hours per week:
shifts range from 7am - 3pm or 2:30pm - 10:30pm.
