What You’ll Be Doing

To provide professional customer service to walk-in customers, handle basic transactional banking needs and identify and direct customers to appropriate delivery channel. The incumbent is often called upon to act independently and exercise their own best judgment in responding to customer's needs. Perform administrative functions to support the operation of the Private Wealth Centre and the Client Service Manager, Private Banking.

This role is also the 1st step in furthering your career development within Private Banking and the pre requisite to the Banking Associate position in supporting a Private Banking Advisor.

The pay range for this role is $ 41,000.00 - $49,760.00

How You’ll Succeed
- Provide high quality customer service - Greet customers arriving for meetings and arrange contact with appropriate Centre staff. Handle walk-in High Value customer's basic transactional banking needs and requests (e.g., deposits, over-limits to ABM, requests for drafts, cheque certification, etc.). Accept referrals from the Convenience channel; refer to the General Manager, Branch Banking and identify appropriate delivery channel (i.e., Financial Adviser or Financial Consultant); make arrangements for initial meeting with the General Manager, Branch Banking. Ensure customers are aware of alternate delivery channels. Demonstrate the functionality of self-serve banking equipment to customers as requested; assist customers with selection of secret codes, replacing damaged convenience cards increasing limits, adding new accounts, and updating customer information. Regularly update knowledge and skills in order to meet customer transactional banking needs and answer general questions regarding the High Value offer.
- Provide administrative support - Ensure the Centre's marketing material is current and rates displayed are correct. Assemble and send investor information packages to customers upon request. Respond to incoming telephone calls to the Centre. Distribute incoming mail, faxes, etc. as appropriate. Input data to spreadsheets and databases. Arrange the scheduling of meeting rooms at the Centre. Coordinate for the Centre activities relating to the arrangement of special marketing/sales events such as road shows, seminars, etc. Send out personalized invitations, congratulatory cards, etc. for the Centre Manager. Maintain adequate stationery for the Centre, ordering and stocking as required. Maintain the Centre's equipment by scheduling service calls, ordering equipment supplies, coordinating LAN support.
- Collaboration - Establish and maintain effective contacts and teamwork with the High Value Centre sales and support staff, Financial Consultants, Convenience colleagues, Processing Centre, and other group providing or supporting wealth management services. Balance cash holdings, branch clearings, debits and credits from customer transactions.
