**Focus**

This position will work with all areas of the business and will need to be comfortable leading requirements gathering sessions, assisting in identifying gaps in the technical solutions, assisting with proof of concepts, creating Business Requirements Documents, process maps, converting the operational needs of the business into technical needs and interpreting these for the development team, solution/enhancement testing, feature documentation and end user training. At times, you may also need to assist the Application Support Team with complex support issues reported by users, as well as taking some after hours on call shifts in the future (1-2 days a week).

- Ability to drive problem solving in Dynamics 365 F&O ERP from an abstract high level as well as from deep in the weeds
- A true self-starter that can quickly and independently assess business requirements and become a trusted and integral part of the Application Team
- Ability to identify gaps in system solutions and drive discussions for resolution
- Drive requirements discussions
- Open and frequent communicator at all levels of the organization with a genuine sensitivity and commitment to the growth needs of the organization. Listening is as important as talking when it comes to effective communication.
- Proven ability to quickly gain trust, negotiate business objectives, have a constructive debate, and work directly with a broad group of senior leaders, including partnering with peer leaders and business units.
- Ability to present complex technical information in a clear, confident and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical individuals.

**Key Attributes and Skills**
- Strong aptitude to understand complex logic.
- Lead the discovery, analysis, configuration, setup, testing and training of new enhancements in Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Develop complex Business Requirement Documents for easy consumption by the development team as well as stakeholders.
- Assist in process mapping.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations.
- Assist Application Support Team with complex support issues.
- Participate in some after hours on call shifts in the future.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar technical degree.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with full life-cycle implementation of Dynamics AX/D365 Finance.
- Must have experience and strong working knowledge across all Dynamics AX/D365 F&O Finance-related modules, including: Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Credit and collections and General ledger.
- Must demonstrate knowledge and experience in ERP implementation principles, practices and methodologies.
- Strong practical Finance experience gained through industry experience. Accounting designation or certification is considered an asset.
- Experience in manufacturing or supply chain is preferred.

**Working Conditions**
- Core working hours - 8am to 4:30pm MST Monday to Friday.
- Some after hours on call coverage.
- Work outside ordinary office hours (including weekends and holidays) may be required during critical phases of Software Upgrades or Projects.
- Some light travel may be required from time to time.
