**Salary**:$27.640, $28.562, $29.615, $30.579, $31.492

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

**Position Overview**:
The Maintenance Tradesperson provides various trades support including; small carpentry, preventative maintenance, mechanical, electrical; drywall, painting, and upholstery repair services for Selkirk Mental Health Centre.

**Experience**:

- Three years’ experience working in a field of carpentry, mechanical repairs, upholstery repairs, drywalling, painting, and basic electrical (AC and DC) repairs.
- Mechanical aptitude; knowledge in the techniques for installation, repair and maintenance of equipment and ability to diagnose and repair equipment is essential.
- Fundamental knowledge of AC and DC electricity is essential.

**Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent.

**Certification/Licensure/Registration**:

- Valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s licence is required.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within in a team is essential.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be physically able to do heavy lifting or carrying, work on feet for eight-hour shifts, work at heights and/or in varying environmental conditions (inside, outside, high humidity).
- Valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s Licence is required.
