**Employment Type**: Full-Time
**Compensation**: $50,000-$60,000 salary + performance-based bonus
**Start Date**: September 2025
**Travel**: Required between regional locations

**Position Summary**

We are seeking a relationship-driven, community-focused **Community Manager** to lead regional engagement, partnership development, and local program execution across six high-traffic public venues in the Simcoe County region. This is an ideal role for a professional with a **background in fundraising, non-profit outreach, community program management, or grassroots advocacy** who wants to connect with schools, families, sports organizations, and civic groups in a meaningful, measurable way.

The Community Manager will operate with a dedicated monthly engagement budget and will be responsible for building partnerships that **deliver value to both the community and our organization**, with impact tracked through participation, awareness, and visitation data.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Community Partnership Development**
- Identify, secure, and manage partnerships with:

- **Youth sports leagues and teams**:

- **Schools, PTAs, and student councils**:

- **Community centers, service clubs, and local charities**:

- **Local event organizers and municipal associations**:

- Plan and support:

- Community give-back programs
- In-store or off-site fundraising campaigns
- Team or group celebration nights
- Donation partnerships or sponsor-driven initiatives

**2. Local Group Engagement & Activation**
- Become a visible, trusted connector within:

- **Local Facebook and community groups**:

- **Neighborhood associations**:

- **Small business networks and chambers of commerce**:

- Drive visibility and participation by sharing relevant content and opportunities in community forums, local events, and group newsletters.

**3. Program Management & Event Planning**
- Plan and execute a **calendar of monthly community-focused events** across all locations (e.g., family nights, team celebrations, fundraiser days)
- Coordinate logistics, materials, signage, and promotional support with internal staff and partners
- Ensure event execution meets brand guidelines, community expectations, and operational standards

**4. Budget Oversight & Impact Measurement**
- Operate within a monthly outreach and event budget (pre-approved per site)
- Track ROI through:

- Participation numbers
- Community feedback
- Sales or visitation trends tied to events and sponsorships
- Refine programs and partnerships based on performance

**5. Internal Coordination**
- Maintain weekly communication with each site’s leadership
- Share updates and community insights with central leadership and marketing team
- Align local programming with broader organizational campaigns and objectives

**Professional Experience**
- **3-5+ years** experience in community outreach, fundraising, sponsorship management, local engagement, or partnership development
- Backgrounds could include:

- **Fundraising coordinator** for a school, hospital foundation, or community nonprofit
- **Community liaison** or **engagement specialist** for a civic or municipal group
- **Field marketer or event coordinator** with strong local activation experience
- **Sports team administrator** or school board event planner

**Education**
- Degree or diploma in:

- Nonprofit Management
- Community Engagement / Public Relations
- Marketing / Communications
- Event Planning or Fundraising
- Hospitality or Recreation Management
