**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Accompany individuals to appointments or outings as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior
- Provide emotional support and companionship

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and terminology is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate varying shifts

**Skills**:

- Familiarity with home care practices and procedures
- Understanding of patient care principles and techniques

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 18 per week

**Benefits**:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- PSW Diploma from a Canadian Institution? (required)
